Transformers mostly use electrical insulating oil that acts both as an insulator and as a coolant. The performance of oil breaks down with time because of moisture, impurities, and aging, posing a threat to the safety of the transformer. Our ZY series of vacuum oil purifiers works best with all such contaminant removal in insulating oil. It improves the breakdown voltage of the oil. It finds its usefulness in the purification of oil, the introduction of fresh oil, vacuum drying at the time of new equipment erection or maintenance.

Uses and Functions

◆ Vacuum dehydration and degassing of oil products; Increase the withstand voltage value
Effectively separate emulsified water from free water in the oil and remove gas from the oil. It is used for purifying new oil or operating oil circulation treatment.
◆ Filtration of oil impurities
The multi-stage gradually densifying filtration system features filter elements that are gradually densified, with a filtration accuracy of 1μm available as an option.
◆ Vacuum oil injection or drying transformer
During the installation stage of the transformer, the oil tank is filled with oil or the hot oil is dried.
◆ Regeneration Purification (ZY type)
It is used for the regeneration and purification of oil in operation, and for controlling the acid value and dielectric loss of oil products.
