During testing, do not clamp the test clip onto the screw cap, as this will affect testing accuracy. It can be clamped onto the terminal post or connecting strip.

The battery reference internal resistance or conductance should be based on the information provided by the battery manufacturer. This parameter has a certain impact on the assessment of remaining capacity.

Battery Connection Diagram

1. Terminal Test

Terminal Test

This instrument accurately measures a battery’s internal resistance. The connection method is shown in the diagram above.

Note: The polarity of the test clip does not need to be distinguished! (This instrument has bidirectional measurement functionality.)

2. Connecting Strip Test

Step 1: Test the battery first.
Step 1: Test the battery first.
Step 2: Test the battery and connecting strip.
Step 2: Test the battery and connecting strip.
  • Step 1: Test the battery first.
  • Step 2: Test the battery and connecting strip.

This instrument has a function to measure the resistance of the connecting strip, but this function cannot be performed by directly connecting the test clip to both ends of the connecting strip. It needs to be connected to the battery and completed in two steps, as shown in the diagram above.

3. Group Testing Method for Connecting Strips

Group Testing Method for Connecting Strips

In group testing, when selecting the “Connecting Strip Test” mode, please test according to the test clip connection sequence shown in Figures 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 above. The instrument will automatically calculate the internal resistance value of each battery and the resistance value of the connecting strip. After testing the battery internal resistance, the instrument will pause the test and prompt “Switch Test Clip.” After the connecting strip test is completed, the instrument will prompt “Test Completed.”

Daily maintenance

1. Cleaning and Maintenance

Clean the central unit with a soft, damp cloth and a mild cleaning agent. Please do not use scratch-type, dissolving-type cleaning agents or alcohol, etc., to avoid scratching the main unit panel or damaging the text on the central unit.

Clean the voltage wire clamp with a soft, damp cloth and a mild cleaning agent. After cleaning, rinse once with clean water and dry. Please do not scratch the metal part of the probe to avoid poor contact and incorrect test results.

2. Storage

After use, the central unit should be promptly placed in the computer case. All clips and wires should be organized and put in the corresponding positions inside the computer case. To maintain the battery in the best condition, it is recommended to charge it regularly (once a month).

3. Battery Maintenance

At the time of delivery, the battery may not be charged. It should be charged before use. Turn on the device and check the charging status. If the battery voltage is too low to start, charge it for a few minutes and then check again. After being fully charged, the battery can generally be used for 9 to 10 hours.

  • When charging, connect the charger to the central unit. It can be charged without turning the device on. (It is recommended to charge it when it is turned on.)
  • Even if it is charged for a long time, such as throughout the entire weekend, it will not cause damage to the instrument.

Note: If it is necessary to charge for a long time, someone must be present to supervise

4. Extend the battery operation time

Fully charge before use. Please turn off the device’s power if it is not used for a long time.
